This ten minute guided meditation can be used throughout the day to connect with the energy of love.
Find a quiet place where you can block out the light.
Lie down. Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose. Filling your stomach with air, feeling the air expand your ribcage. Fill your chest. Your throat. And hold the breath.
Exhale as a sigh.
And again. Breathe in deeply through your nose. Filling your stomach, your chest, your throat and holding the breath.
Exhale as a sigh.
One more time.
In through your nose. Deeply filling your stomach, your lungs, expanding your ribcage, the top of your chest, your throat and holding the breath.
Exhale as a sigh.
Feel the energy of love filling your body.
Starting at the tips of your toes. Moving into the bones and soles of your feet.
All the way along to your heels.
Rising up through your ankles. Along your calves and your shins.
Through your knees, your thighs, into your hips and your pelvis.
Moving up into your abdomen, along your spine and through your ribs.
Up to the top of your chest.
Through your shoulders, down the tops of your arms.
Through your elbows, your forearms, your wrists, into the bones and palms of your hands, through to the tips of your fingers.
Up through your throat, round to the back of your head, up to the top of your skull and down through your face and your ears.
Feel the energy of love in every cell of your body.
Feel the peace and the softness of who you really are.
Allow your thoughts to flow without any of them grabbing your attention.
Let them be.
Feel the wellbeing that is always within you vibrating through you.
Feel the energy of love guiding you towards health.
Feel the wisdom and knowledge that are always within letting you know that you are safe. That you are loved.
Be still with this energy.
Any time your thoughts take your attention from this feeling of calm, remind yourself that you can let them go.
In this space of softness there are no edges. No ends, no beginnings, no definitions, no boundaries.
You are free of all the things that take your attention away from love.
In this moment all that exists is an awareness of the energy of love.
Feel the love within you.
Feel the energy raising your consciousness.
Feel love expanding your mind, allowing you to open up to potential, opportunity and possibility for a life that is best for you.
Understanding that you are everything you seek, everything you have ever longed to be, all that you’ve wished for. That the only thing that ever detracts you from this are your thoughts in the moment that you give your attention to.
Breathing deeply. In through your nose. Out through your mouth.
Focus on the love within you. The love that’s all around you.
The only thing that is.
Feel the love. Be the love.
You are always connected to this energy. You can never be disconnected. You can only cover it up with unhelpful thoughts and unhelpful feelings.
When you need to, you can come back to this feeling of softness, of peace, of wellbeing.
Feeling the energy of love, in your hands, in your feet, in your limbs, your torso, your neck, your head, every part of you is filled with the energy of love.
Take a moment to guide your awareness to a time in your day where you can express peace and love, tenderness and warmth, gentleness and kindness.
Play the scene out, feel the feelings. Feel the gratitude that comes from expressing love and sharing love and acting from love.
Feel your heart expand. Feel your mind be still.
And now, bring your awareness back to the room you are in. To the tasks of the day. To the people you’ll be spending your time with and imagine going about your interactions, your responsibilities with love. In love. Guided by love.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale.
Deeply in through your nose and slowly exhale.
One more time. Breathe deeply in through your nose and slowly exhale.
Open your eyes. Look around the room you are in. Feel the energy of love flowing freely from your body, from your mind, from your heart.
And enjoy your day, knowing that you are always connected to this energy, always a part of it and that any time you want to, you can drop into this space, allow your thoughts to flow and relax into the softness.
