Self Trust Meditation

This ten minute guided meditation is designed to remind you of the wisdom within that you can trust to guide you towards success, health and happiness.

Find somewhere quiet where you can block out the light.

Lie down.

Take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and release as a sigh.

And again, take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and release as a sigh.

One more time, take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and release as a sigh.

Allow yourself to relax.

Feel your body melting into the surface that you are lying on.

Feel any tension disappearing from your muscles, your bones, your neck.

Feel your jaw go slack.

Allow your thoughts to flow through your mind.

Find that gentle resting spot for your awareness.

Melt into the softness of silence.

In this silence, in this softness is where intuition lies.

Just as you are guided to breathe, to blink, to create new cells, to shed your skin, you are guided by innate intelligence that wants you to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

This intelligence will guide you towards to success, wellbeing, joy.

You know that you can trust yourself.

You know that when you listen to the whisperings of wisdom, things turn out better than when you focus on the noisy, loud shouting of the ego.

And you know that the whispers of wisdom are always speaking to you from this place of stillness within.

From this calm place of peace.

There is wellbeing within that you can revert to in any moment that you allow your mind to quieten down so that wisdom can be heard.

You know that in these moments of health and peace the feeling is neutral.

The feeling is calm.

Past mistakes help us learn.

Our feelings are our guidance system.

We feel our thoughts so that we know whether they are helpful or not in a situation.

Sometimes we get confused about this.

It happens to us all.

We can let that go.

We can forgive ourselves for our moments of confusion.

We can move on.

You are not damaged.

You are not broken.

Your guidance system is intact.

Wisdom allows you to see this.

Sometimes your thoughts tell you otherwise but they create a feeling and that lets you know when you are looking in the wrong direction.

Any time you turn away from wisdom, you feel it.

Any time you turn away from health, you feel it.

Habitual thoughts of insecurity and self doubt can be ignored.

They are not true.

They are not real.

They are not helpful.

Next time you have a decision to make, you can take a breath, fall into the softness of silence and trust that intuition is available to guide you.

You can trust in the intelligence within.

Your insights are trustworthy.

Any thoughts that you have about these insights can be interpreted by the feelings they create.

Wisdom is neutral.

Wisdom is spacious.

Wisdom is expansive.

Self doubt and insecurity and constrictive.

Allow yourself to trust in spaciousness.

Allow yourself to trust in the expansive nature of wisdom and wellbeing.

The whisperings of wisdom are speaking to you all day every day.

They will guide you.

They will keep you safe.

Challenges and events throw us out of our comfort zone.

They pull the ground from under us.

But we are resilient.

You are strong.

You can get through.

You can choose to look away from painful thinking and towards wisdom.

You can turn to face the light within.

Feel the warmth of your light.

Feel its rays of love on your face.

Feel its beams of wellbeing flooding your body.

Feel the strength of peace and wellbeing moving throughout you.

Know that you can revert to health and wisdom just by trusting in their existence.

Know that you can trust that innate intelligence is available for you to hear.

You can trust yourself.

You can discern between wisdom and ego.

You can make healthy decisions.

You can move forwards with self love and self respect.

Feel the feelings of peace and warmth and softness infusing your body.

Feel them lighting up your heart.

Feel them stilling your mind and redirecting your thinking towards healthy, clear and insightful thoughts.

Take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and release as a sigh.

And again, take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and release as a sigh.

One more time, take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and release as a sigh.

Open your eyes.
