Healing Face Mask

This healing face mask is made up of four ingredients plus water that work to soothe, heal, cleanse and moisturise skin leaving it clear, bright and glowing.

Bentonite Clay

Bentonite clay, or Montmorillonite clay, is an ultra cleansing, mineral rich clay formed from volcanic ash that carries a negative electrical charge when mixed with water, allowing it to attract toxins and impurities which have a positive charge and are removed along with the clay when washed off. Using bentonite clay on the skin clears pores and reduces them in size, removes dead skin cells, reduces inflammation, provides the softening support of silica and enhances the healing of scar tissue and blemishes.

Castor Oil

Castor oil, also known as Arandi is made from pressing the seeds of the castor plant. It is a moisturising oil, rich in fatty acids that is anti inflammatory and antimicrobial and stimulates production of collagen and elastin, heals skin, reduces inflammation, evens skin tone and increases absorption, aiding the face mask ingredients to penetrate the skin’s layers and get to work on a deep level.

Lavender Essential Oil

As an aromatherapy ingredient, lavender soothes, relaxes and relieves stress and anxiety. As an ingredient in skin care, it does much the same to heal skin, whilst disinfecting, increasing circulation, inhibiting bacteria growth, regulating sebum production and reducing the pain of spots, wounds and blemishes.

Rosemary Essential Oil

A fresh smelling, stimulating essential oil, rosemary is antimicrobial and antiseptic and when used in skin care removes impurities, stimulates blood flow, nourishes and moisturises whilst soothing, toning and relieving pain.

  • 1 tsp Bentonite clay
  • 1 tsp castor oil
  • 1-2* drops lavender essential oil
  • 1-2* drops rosemary essential oil
  • 2 tsp filtered water

* Depending on the sensitivity level of your skin. Leave out completely for very sensitive skin.
