What inspires the work you do?
I’ve had my fair share of struggles in life. Growing up, I wasn’t exactly raised in a “loving household”. And even amidst the turbulence and chaotic unknown I found space in my heart to want to feel happy.
I am inspired by the desire to help others experience the beauty of life and their power within.
We began documenting our life journey over 7 years ago. Throughout the years we’ve continually been inspired to add value through our media by sharing our discoveries, hardships, and triumphs in order to improve our personal lives and to connect with those who feel like they could use a little extra love and positivity in their lives.
Why do you think people resonate with your message?
Because it’s authentic and real. I understand what it takes to change your story and rise from a traumatising past. It’s funny how much in this world we have to fear, yet most of us seem to have a reason to live. There must be something enough to help humanity go on. I believed this reason was love.
What does abundance mean to you?
The experience of constant fulfillment. We believe life is meant to be lived and that we were meant to love and be loved. And for us, that purpose starts with Gratitude. In our lives, Gratitude has served as the fastest way to Abundance, and it is in that Gratitude that we find love for experiencing and being.
How do your insights guide your parenting?
Every moment and interaction is reflection and re-calibration. They are my greatest teachers and I’m always open to the lesson. Your children have come here to teach you, not the other way around. Holding them back will only hold you back.
What is the single most important lesson you have learned?
You ALWAYS have a choice.
There was a time in my life when I was desperate for something different. I didn’t feel abundant and I wasn’t grateful for the trauma I was in.
I knew I was meant to be something more, to live something more. Despite the pain I’ve faced since. Nothing has been worth sacrificing my choice and ability to live a different story.
No fear would stifle me. No sadness would break me. No history would define me. Because I was Hungry. Hungry for happiness. Hungry for truth. I wanted to feel that gratitude and experience abundance.
What is your hope for the world?
We can stand together and learn to live not just in harmony, but in symbiotic growth, using our efforts to solve greater problems instead of feeding our egos. Love and happiness cannot be found. They are present gifts that are accepted through a choice in perspective. What do I choose to see in my life? The only condition in accepting these gifts is to let go of fear. You cannot keep both. No matter how much light and gratitude you see in your life, fear will cripple the ability to feel and experience that absolute joy.
