Three Ingredient Chocolate Truffles

These decadent and rich three ingredient chocolate truffles are as close as it gets to a healthy version.

Made from just medjool dates, cacao powder and cacao butter, they are smooth, creamy, extremely chocolatey and free from refined sugar, flavourings, preservatives and other ingredients that do not support vibrant health.

Makes 10 Truffles


  • 7 g cacao powder + 7 g cacao powder
  • 15 g cacao butter
  • 100 g pitted medjool dates


Spread the first 7 g cacao powder onto a plate.

Grate the cacao butter and combine it with the rest of the cacao powder and the pitted dates in a food processor or high speed blender and process on high until the ingredients have formed a sticky paste.

Remove with one hand in little clumps and using the other hand roll out into balls on the cacao powder coated plate.

Refrigerate for at least one hour to set.
